We Offer the Following Groups:
DivorceCare is a group for those hurting from the pain of separation or divorce. You don't have to walk through this difficult time alone. We understand what you're going through and can help you struggle well through the process. This winter and spring, DivorceCare will meet on Zoom, Wednesdays from 7:30 pm–9:00 pm, starting January 13, 2021.
The Mental Health Family Grace Group is a support group for family members, friends, and caregivers who come alongside individuals with various mental disorders. The Family Grace Group meets Sunday evenings in the fall and spring at the SouthPark campus.
Caring Threads is a gathering of women who hand-knit and crochet God’s love and care into prayer shawls that are given to those needing encouragement in the face of life’s challenges. Caring Threads meets the second and fourth Monday of the month at the SouthPark campus.
Caring For Aging Adults support group is for individuals who are caring for an aging loved one, friend or disabled family member. We encourage and equip caregivers by providing a facilitated group discussion, emotional support, training, and opportunities to address concerns as well as share the unique experiences of caregiving.
During this COVID-19 season and until further notice, the Caring For Aging Adults Group is meeting monthly via Zoom, on the first Friday of each month from 9:30 am–11:00 am. Participants are discussing the book, The Heart of the Caregiver. If you are interested in attending the Zoom call, please contact us to learn more about the Group and what to expect before joining.
Prime Time is for those considering retirement, going through it, or recently retired. We gather regularly to connect, give information, and direct each other to the resources available to us. Prime Time is an opportunity to ask questions and hear the answers from others who have walked through the same path you’re on. Prime Time meets for social events and learning activities throughout the year.
Join us for our next get together on January 17 at 7:00 pm in W-1 at SouthPark. We'll have a pizza and trivia. Cost is $5.
GEMS is a ministry of encouragement to the supported missionaries of New City Church that meets on the first Saturday of every month at 9:30 am on the SouthPark campus. This group encourages missionaries supported by New City through prayer, celebrating their birthdays, and inviting them to come and share about their ministry. All women are invited to join as they are able.
