New City Church
Our second session, From Sinai to the Kingdom, was held beginning in January 2023. Audio from that session is available in our archive here.
Session 1 and 2 participants are continuing this spring on the Discover track with our first course, "Old Testament: A Journey from Creation to the Rebuilding of the Temple." We will offer this course again in fall 2023 for a new class of participants.
We are created and called for wholehearted living and a God-glorifying purpose that transforms us and our world. But sometimes we aren't sure how to do that, and living in a postmodern world can add to that uncertainty. God created us to live as disciples serving him with passion and purpose, living fully loved and with a meaningful mission.
But how do we do that? How do we understand the message that God is speaking to us through the Bible?
From Genesis to Revelation, God is sending us a message. He is speaking to us, and it’s a message that we must hear and understand to live as his disciples. Matthew 28:19-20 is known as the Great Commission. Jesus is telling his followers to “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.”
Do you have clarity on how to engage in Great Commission living? Do you know how to make a disciple and what to teach them? Do you need a foundation in biblical truth yourself or a biblical worldview that empowers you to reflect Jesus to a shifting world?
If you want training in becoming a deeper, more mature disciple of Jesus living fully into his purpose for you, we want to invite you to join New City Academy.
