Taught by New City Staff
Understanding theology helps us answer the questions: what is God like, who did He create me to be, and what does the work of Christ mean to me and our world. The more we understand theology, the more we can live in the truth and security of the gospel. Join us to explore our statement of faith. You might be newer to the faith or just want to brush up on those principles that are considered non-negotiable in the Christian faith. We will use the book Evangelical Convictions to guide our discussion.
We continue our study of our Statement of Faith on Wednesday nights from 6:30–8:00 pm beginning January 12. Over 10 weeks we will study The Holy Spirit, The Church, Christian Living, Christ's Return, and Our Response and Eternal Destiny. We will meet together in the Worship Center for large group teaching and then break out into small group discussions.
Small groups will be comprised of blended adult groups, women's groups, and men's groups. Please let us know on your registration form which type of group you would like to be placed in. If your community group plans to participate in Theology 101 together, you will each need to sign up and let us know your group leader's name.
