Common Heart is a grassroots organization in Union County that serves neighbors in need. Volunteers are people of various faiths desiring to serve and make a difference in the lives of their neighbors.
Volunteer with Common Heart
One of Common Heart's biggest needs is for Saturday morning food packing volunteers in Marshville. There are two time slots, 8:00-10:00 am and 10 am-noon.
Volunteers (ages 12 and up) are also needed for afternoon food packing shifts in Indian Trail on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:00-5:00 pm.
Hemby Bridge Food Pantry
Every Monday evening, volunteers are needed to serve in the food pantry at Mill Grove United Methodist Church in Hemby Bridge.
Register for Common Heart's Virtual Hunger Walk to raise awareness about hunger in our community.
