Common Heart Hunger Walk 2023

The Common Heart Hunger Walk is designed to raise awareness about hunger in our community and raise funds to support Common Heart's eleven food pantries and Cupboard Ally program.

We'd love you to join the New City Cares Hunger Walk Team on Sunday, March 5 from 1:30-4:00 pm at Crooked Creek Park in Indian Trail. You can register through Common Heart for a minimum donation of $35 for adults and $15 for children (12 and under) or $125 for a family of five or more. At the time of registration, you'll be given the option to join a team. Choose New City Cares to walk together!

Everyone who registers will have the option to "become a fundraiser" and share the cause on social media to raise additional donations. As a church, we have set a fundraising goal of $10,000. Ask your friends and family to sponsor you as you walk to help feed more hungry families! Each $25 raised can provide one family with a week's worth of groceries via a Common Heart pantry.

As a bonus, Common Heart awards trophies for the top three teams who raise the most, plus prizes for individuals. And this year, New City will have our own prizes for the top three fundraisers on the New City Cares team.
