School Spirit Fall 2023

New City has a long history of partnering with two local Title 1 elementary schools: Greenway Park and Idlewild. We are encouraged by the work they do to teach, develop and care for their students—and we are blessed to come alongside them to help grow their impact.

This school year, rather than having individual fundraisers for multiple events, we are combining our School Spirit fundraiser into a single giving opportunity that will support the entire initiative this fall. This includes:

• Back-to-school gift cards for teachers, helping our educators purchase supplies to foster the best learning environment for their students
• Spirit wear for every student, helping to build a sense of unity and pride in their school
• Teacher appreciation, including occasional in-school meals for staff and a special Teacher Appreciation Night at Alexander Homestead in November
• Fall clean-up of the school grounds, beautifying the spaces where children play and learn outdoors

Give online now and designate your gift for the "School Spirit" fund. Or you can drop a check in the giving boxes at either campus. Simply include "School Spirit" in the memo line.
