Christmas is one of our favorite seasons of the year, yet it can be so easy to get caught up in the busyness and forget to recognize that we are celebrating the arrival of Jesus, our Savior, into the world. We have to be intentional to slow down and celebrate this season with our families, Community Groups, and friends.

This year, our Advent series focuses on different characters from the Gospels whose stories challenge us to wait with hope for our Hope: the Messiah Jesus. Over the next four weeks, slow down to see the gifts of God through this Advent season.

Advent comprises the four Sundays leading up to Christmas Day. Beginning December 2, we invite you light a candle each week, read a short passage of scripture about a biblical character, read the devotional we've prepared, and reflect on the questions that are raised at the end of each devotional.
