New City Cares

New City Cares

We want to be a church that cares well for the people who call New City home. Part of our work in helping people find and follow Jesus requires us to look inward, to care for each other, pray for each other, and help bear each other’s burdens. We don't want you to struggle alone. We want to help you.

Here are a few ways we regularly care for our New City family. If any of these are relevant to your needs at this time, fill out this form to let us know

Pastoral Care Fund

If you or someone you know is struggling financially, we offer a fund specifically dedicated to helping meet the essential needs of those who call New City their home and are facing financial difficulties. Let us know of your need.

Counseling Resources

This season may have awakened things that feel heavy and difficult. It's our desire to help you process and grow through these, and to ultimately cast your burdens on the one who wants to carry them for you. We have a large network of counselors in the Charlotte area who are committed to helping you or a loved one. We can help you connect with a counselor and help ease any financial burden that may be holding you back from pursuing mental health. Let us know you want to be connected.

Prayer

Prayer is powerful and effective. Did you know that our prayer team prays weekly for the requests submitted by our New City Family? We would be honored to walk alongside you in prayer and petition and we feel it is a privilege to do so. Your requests always remain anonymous if you prefer.

If you are part of the New City Family, please use this link to submit your prayer requests and praise reports.

Groups

We talk a lot about Groups at New City, and care for our congregation is one of the main reasons why. While a growing church body offers tremendous opportunity to carry out our mission, we are designed to know and be known in deep, intentional community. We hear story after story of ways that our New City Groups are supporting and caring for one another in uniquely personal ways, and it is our hope that everyone in our New City family be a part of these smaller communities within our church. If you would be interested in joining a group, please let us know.

We have some specific Care Groups for those facing particular challenges. You can learn more about them here.
