New City is a place where you can get to know people and find where you belong. This happens in different ways for different people, but we have regular opportunities and connect events for our congregations to gather outside of worship services and begin to grow circles of community.

Connect Groups

New City Connect Groups exist to bridge the gap between our Sunday morning services and our Community Group environments. These gatherings are designed to create spaces for people to experience connection and belonging. The goal of Connect Groups are for people to meet friends, to belong in community, and to move people into what's next. Connect Groups are open and ongoing and may be specific to an age group or to a shared interest.

What to know

What is a Community Group?

A Community Group at New City is a small group of 8 to 12 people that learn and grow together in a circle of community.

Where and when do they meet?

New City Community Groups meet in homes, coffee shops, and restaurants on various days of the week and times of day.

What kinds of groups are there?

We have men’s groups, women’s groups, couples’ groups, and mixed groups of men and women.

What do they study?

Community Groups at New City study the Bible, go through sermon discussion guides written for our sermon series, and explore books about living out our journey with Jesus.

How do I join a Community Group?

We open new community groups twice a year for Group Launch in September and February. Let us know you’re interested in a Group and we’ll be sure you get invited to Group Launch.

Baptism

Baptism is a way to tell the world that you've declared Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord. We hold baptism services throughout the year.
