Once again this holiday season, the New City family will partner with UrbanPromise to purchase and donate new, unopened gifts for the annual Christmas Promise Shop. UrbanPromise invites local families to shop for and purchase gifts at deeply discounted prices for their children, offering dignity and joy at a challenging time of year. All proceeds from the shop will benefit UrbanPromise.
We'll collect new, unwrapped gifts and gift cards with the original price marked on them from November 1-November 29. You may also donate financially to the Christmas Promise Shop fund online, or by marking your cash or check offering toward the Christmas Promise Shop. If you're not giving online, you can leave your gift in the drop boxes at our locations or mail it in. If you are unable to be at one of our New City locations on a Sunday, you can visit our drive-thru drop-off outside the SouthPark campus east lobby (Carmel Park side) on Wednesday, November 18 from 4:00-6:00 pm or Tuesday, December 1 from 6:00-8:00 pm.
This year, we will partner with two UrbanPromise locations to serve over 100 families.
How it works:
Choose a digital tag for a child of the age and gender you would like to buy a gift. You may sign up for more than one. This will help us keep track of what is covered and where there might be gaps. Choose a tag now.

Return new, unwrapped gifts (including gift cards) with the original price marked on them to any of our New City locations by November 29. Give online to the Christmas Promise Shop fund by November 29. You may also leave your donation in a drop box at any New City location or mail it in. Please designate that it is for Christmas Promise Shop on the check or envelope.
Proceeds from the Christmas Promise Shop will go to UrbanPromise CLT.
