Each month, more than 350 families receive grocery deliveries thanks to Common Heart's Cupboard Ally Program.

A Cupboard Ally delivers groceries to families struggling in poverty or in crisis and seeks to be an intentional friend. Deliveries are made to 2–6 families one Saturday a month. The families assigned to you are families that you will be serving monthly for as long as there is a need. The Saturday delivery day is determined in advance and is typically the same Saturday (ex. 2nd Saturday) each month.

Allies are encouraged to check in with their families on a regular basis by phone, text, or email.

Cupboard Allies must:

  • Be 21 or older (although children under 21 are encouraged to join their parents for delivery)
  • Have an insured vehicle
  • Pass a background check
